Sending Superman to the edge of space with a Raspberry Pi
The mission to send a Superman Action Figure to the edge of Space and back. The project was to recreate the 2012 record breaking freefall from 39km high by Felix Baumgartner in the Red Bull Stratos capsule.

David Adair is an internationally recognised expert in space technology spinoff applications for industry and commercial use. At age 11, he built his first of hundreds of rockets which he designed and test-flew. At 17, he won "The Most Outstanding in the Field of Engineering Sciences" award from the US Air Force. At 19, he designed and fabricated a state-of-the-art mechanical system for changing jet turbine engines for the US Navy that set world-record turnaround times that still stand today. David Adair is the president of Intersect, Inc., and he lectures and provides consulting services to companies and organisations that want to know how to use the latest cutting-edge technological advances.
David's dad built engines for NASCAR legend Lee Petty, Richard Petty's dad. David had access to their machine shop where built some of his rockets.
